We were there last week and stayed Wend - Sat. We were able to check in early about 12:30 and I was given a choice of two partial view rooms one of the American falls and one of the Horseshoe Falls. The staff mentioned it was slow since it was a weekday and school did not get out until next week. It was Camp Embassy; I guess slow means only 80%. Breakfast is 5 hours and between the hours of 8:15? to 10:00 a total zoo, even though they can hold 750 people at a time. Every room has 4 people in it so it is crazy. They try to maintain crowd control, only one drink a day at the manager’s reception; different times printed on your breakfast coupons etc. Overall I was ok with the stay, and like the hotel, but it is a lot of points for a $200 or so room. There are not a lot better options though, with Hilton at least. The Hilton has a ton of city view rooms, & the others do not even have falls view rooms. The Marriott next door every room has a good view, but the views can be just as good at the ES in the right room. I also like the Sheraton down by Maid of the Mist, but they have a lot of city views also. I stayed at the ES in January and it was a ghost town, maybe ten people in the hotel totally different, I was upgraded to some special suite not the Presidential but very nice.
