Making sure I don't get 50% miles

Question. Last time I flew from JFK->NRT->BKK and back I booked a super saver multi-leg journey for what I thought was a steal. I discovered that "steal" ended up with me getting 50% miles accumulation. I have to go back to Tokyo in August and I when I go to book they offer "Super Saver" flights, but these flights now say they have 70% mile accumulation. Granted when I booked in May they didn't have the new feature where they show you "Mileage Accumulation" for each flight itin.

Long story short, am I safe trusting the website when it says I get "70%" mile accumulation, or should I be leary? And is there anyway to know when/why you get 50% miles?
