OK, I'm the first to admit that I love Starwood's pet policy. I haven't taken advantage of it very often since I usually fly, but Daisy and I travelled to the Westin Southfield (Detroit) last month, and now we are at the Sheraton Novi (also Detroit). I love travelling with her. She is well-behaved and always clean and groomed. And we never leave any trace of her presence behind. ^

We were pleasantly surprised when the front desk clerk at the Sheraton Novi handed us a little gift bag on check in. Both Daisy and I love surprises, so we were anticipating a nice little treat to welcome Daisy. We quickly opened the gift bag when we got to our room and found a pair of surgical gloves and 2 poop bags in it. Don't know who was more disappointed, me or Daisy. OK, so they were scented bags in little thimble-like containers, but still, couldn't they put a cookie in there too or something ...

But it still doesn't take away from my enthusiasm. I LOVE STARWOOD'S PET POLICY!
