Nope...

Well an update of sorts. Flight got off the ground at JFK around 4pm. Arrived at ORD and went straight to baggage claim. Waited and waited for the screens to show our reclaim belt and nothing happened. Just presumed it was rather busy, walked down the line of belts a couple of times checking the screens at each belt and also looked at the flight numbers on bag tags going round. Decided to wait underneath the screens with all the arrivals and after perhaps 45mins (Be nice, I'm used to BAA airports! ) I thought I'd just go to the baggage services. The chap there said the bags came through ages ago, well we were off the plane first and didn't see anything related to our flight! We walk down the belts and look at a small stack of bags which are labelled AA1323. Ours aren't there.

We go back to his desk with my baggage receipts and it says there is a message attached to the bags and they didn't make the flight but will be on the next one which gets in at 10.40pm. We go down to our hotel in the middle of the city (thankfully them not making the flight meant we didn't have to lug them around ) and over night they are delivered to the hotel.
