I did JFK without checked bags in a record time for me. I arrived at the front of the terminal 16 mins before my J41 flight to IAD. Yes, a whopping 16 mins. Luckily, I was commuting in and out of there quite a bit at that time and my co-workers who were about 45 mins ahead of me let the agent know I was going to be there. I got to the gate about 11 mins before takeoff. Got on the flight, and sat on the runway for the usuall hour plus at the 5PM rush time. There is a certain amount of fun in doing it in 16 mins though.
