Has there been a flurry of news about HFCS recently? Something is making them blink.
Today's WSJ has an article announcing this marketing campaign. Last week, it says, the American Medical Investigation announced that HFCS doesn't appear to contribute more to obesity than other caloric sweeteners, but called for further research on the effects of HFCS.
WSJ quotes Center for Science in the Public Interest as saying that HFCS is essentially identical to sugar, and that Americans eat too much of both.
