I remember one of simongr's epics he did do the credit to AA but use QF points to upgrade. Of course it went pear shaped as the QF number was recorded on his itinerary and flights started crediting to there not AA.
I wonder if he ever got that sorted, but he did get EXEC PLAT on AA.
