Cabin temp
This can be one of the most annoying aspects of a long flight--a cabin temp that is too hot. One simply cannot sleep under those conditions.
Here is the rub. If the cabin is too cold, one can use a blanket, put on a sweater, do lots of things to warm up. But if the cabin is too warm, there is nothing one can do.
I have frequently asked the flight attendants to turn down the temp and that has worked.
I really wish the crews would be more sensitive to the need to keep things cool in the cabin as that allows virtually everyone to accommodate to the temp. The other way around--too warm and only a few will be able to cope.
By the way, this is not a problem unique to AF. Flight crews set the temp in the cabin on all airlines and some crews really crank up the heat--big mistake.
