I have noticed that my boarding pass says premier exec 1K. I was premier exec last year but have been 1K all of this year. My attention was drawn to this on 2 recent trips to london out of sfo. Both times my boarding pass states premier exec 1K on the top. When in london with very rude service, I asked why I didn't get upgraded, they said there were some higher status than me, I asked higher than 1K? I get that global services are higher. But then, other 1K's higher status than me, yes higher total mileage thus far than me, so, I ask you . . .
1. What is the deal with the dual identification on my boarding pass
2. How can other 1K's jump over me, how many miles does it take to be upgraded over me, given that I am a 1K too.
Just so you know, my ticket cost $2400./
