Spoke to an AF agent today, but would love to hear someone who actually did this to confirm it.

I'm on AF NYC-CDG-IST with a 2 day layover in Paris. All one ticket/PNR.

I was told today that I am entitled to check 2 pieces up to 23kg on the CDG-IST leg.

I've done this itin before, but usually wouldn't be traveling with so much luggage that I would have tested this.

Anyone have any experiences with this.

If I'm not mistaken, the agent said something about this being a "new policy."

If so and the check-in agent tells me something different, is there any sort of internal AF-system reference for the rules about this? (I've seen references to *pages in the DL system before).
