It would be awesome to fly SQ, but when I asked an agent about it (this particular one seemed relatively well-informed), she said that connecting in SIN down to ADL would not be a valid routing. Could anyone confirm that?

It looks like the 2 pm LAX-ORD gets in at 7:58 pm, and apparently they're cutting ORD-JAX flights, so the last flight out is at 5:55 pm. So schedule-wise, it may simply not be possible to get back in the same calendar day, but that's not the end of the world. If I routed through SFO, I might be able to swing a connection on US SFO-CLT-JAX, but I'll deal with figuring that out (and we all know how USeless some airlines can be).

Any other bits of informations or suggestions that I may not know about for transiting to the land down under (like glex50's tip on int'l connections through LAX)? Thanks again to everyone for their input! :-:
