Following up to my own thread - this is what I've firmed things up to... More internal flights than really desirable, I guess, but none of them are really anything over 3 hrs.

Friday 12th September: Fly from Tokyo to Bangkok and on to Sydney (first class/business class on Thai Airways).

Saturday 13th September: Arrive Sydney, transfer to Observatory Hotel.

Sunday 14th September: Sydney.

Monday 15th September: Sydney.

Tuesday 16th September: Sydney (Blue Mountains tour?)

Wednesday 17th September: Fly from Sydney to Cairns (Qantas economy), then transfer to Lizard Island (Hinterland Aviation).

Thursday 18th September: Lizard Island.

Friday 19th September: Lizard Island.

Saturday 20th September: Fly from Lizard Island to Cairns (Hinterland Aviation), transfer to Shangri-la Hotel.

Sunday 21st September: Tour of Kuranda, including Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail.

Monday 22nd September: Fly from Cairns to Ayers Rock (Qantas economy), then transfer to Longitude 131.

Tuesday 23rd September: Sightseeing at Uluru.

Wednesday 24th September: Fly from Ayers Rock to Alice Springs (Qantas economy), then transfer to Crowne Plaza Resort.

Thursday 25th September: Dawn balloon flight followed by tour of town.

Friday 26th September: Fly from Alice Springs to Sydney (Qantas economy), then transfer to Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Saturday 27th September: Fly from Sydney to Singapore and on to Tokyo (business/suites class on Singapore Airlines)
