Hi everyone, first post but facing a similar issue so here goes:
Does anyone know what the chances would be of the member of staff getting into trouble if what you're complimenting them on wasn't BA policy?
I was flying Club Europe recently and ran into an old friend as we were boarding, he was flying Euro Traveller. I asked the CSD if we could possibly sit together so we could catch up, and as CE was pretty empty (4-5 people) he upgraded my friend, and offered him the hot towels/champagne/meal.
I obviously thanked the CSD in person at the time but wanted to pass on really how much I appreciated it, yet at the same time don't want to get them into trouble if they shouldn't have offered the upgrade!
Any advice would be much appreciated!
