Many thanks to all who have taken the time to write in and praise my colleagues.
It takes about 2 weeks to filter through the system. My immediate manager sends me an e-mail, and sometimes a letter if it's praiseworthy enough! It is noted on my work file, and a summary of all complimentary comments goes to the Head of Inflight Services.

I think it is a pity that the current policy on name badges omits the family name, (seemingly only CSDs and Pursers have a family!), it makes it harder to send a comment "out of the blue" if you have to ask the crew for their last name!
