Sharon, you must really have connections -- that is slightly over three full days and it had to:

1. Travel on the mobile post office from my house to the regional post office in Safed.

2. Be driven to Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv (about 200 kilometers).

3. Processed at Ben-Gurion and put on a flight to JFK.

4. Be cleared by Customs at JFK.

5. Flown to your regional post office in California.

6. Be sent on to your local post office.

7. Delivered to your house.

Of course, it had a break in that I did not include a bottle of Holy Water from the River Jordan. If I had, and it was over 3 ounces, the TSA might have stopped the package and held it for questioning.

Please give my best wishes to your sister along with the post cards (and, eventually, the book).
