Not sure what kind of fidelity to expect from $3.89 headphones. The phone appears to be restricted to 128-bit or lower sampling on the mp3's, but I still might try for a bit higher quality headset. Maybe I can get her a little phone carrier for her purse that has a place to keep a 3.5mm adapter so she won't lose it. That would open up a world of possibilities.

I'd just get a good set of regular headphones (like the VModa's) and an adapter that she always keeps plugged into it, if you don't take the adapter off, you'll also never lose it...

The actually sound pretty decent, but like you noticed; the really cheap ones are a little suspiciously cheap...
