Hi. Two days ago I was originally booked on DL 1890 MEM-ATL connecting
to DL 1979 ATL-COS. Flight 1890 was canceled due to mechanical reasons
so I was rebooked on DL 1752 connecting to DL 755 into Denver instead of
Colorado Springs in order to make it home that night and not have to
spend the night somewhere. Unfortunately, DL 1752 was also delayed due
to mechanical reasons causing me to miss my connection. Delta did an
excellent job of rebooking me on Northwest on a direct flight to Denver
from Memphis so that is not the issue. I would like original mileage
credit from either of my DL itineraries, I still have my boarding passes
from Flight 1752 and 755. I feel that Delta did an excellent job, but
also that I deserve the mileage credit that I had originally booked with
Delta. Please delete the Northwest Flight 5927 from my account and
credit me the Delta miles for the flights I would have taken on Delta if
not for mechanical cancellations and delays. Normally I would not ask
this, but I booked the trip in order to make Platinum Medallion and not
getting those miles I had originally booked hinders that. Thank You.
