I had my RBC Avion card frozen a few weeks ago, as I had paid for dinner here in Seoul 20 minutes before someone tried to make a purchase at an LCBO in Richmond Hill for a few hundred dollars. The computer apparently caught it as the card was swiped in Richmond Hill (and not entered manually), which would have been rather impossible given there is only one card issued on my account.

After the first charge didn't go through, they tried one elsewhere for a lower amount (declined) and a final go at $1.27 at a McDonalds (declined). In the end nothing hit my account, but I they did have to cancel and reissue the card.
