This 6-day minimum has been very intriguing for me as well. I used to take IAD-PEK or PVG on Saturday, arrived on Sunday late aftenoon, rested ovenight, conducted business on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning, came back on Wednesday afternoon (PEK) and still had 2 workdays left in my office. Now I have to paid more than 60% to get the H fare versus V. Well, I guess UA want us to spend more time and money in Asia.
