The bucket and spade PAX, no. Premium PAX, yes. We all expereince the odd bad crew or crew member, but by and large it is the cabin crew that make the positive difference. I certainly wouldn't keep coming back to the tatty, often non too clean aircraft (and I specifically include NNCW in that) if it were not for the crews. BA mangement seem to think that a few bits of shiny plastic (steady boys and girls, I'm talking seats not gold cards) drive customer loyalty - they are wrong. And sure the shareholders call the shots, but the management are meant to be able to deliver what is required - and in the main part that is keeping premium customers loyal. The message is simple from this long term gold card carrying MVCC - loose the cabin crews and you loose my business.
