I much prefer Grand Tower, which has larger rooms and faster elevator access than West Wing. Also, Grand Tower has in-room safes which I do greatly appreciate. A few years ago West Wing did not have in-room safes, but I wouldn't be surprised if that has been fixed by now; I simply don't know for sure since I always request Grand Tower.

BTW, a great convenience about staying at MGM is that you can check in at the airport! In the baggage claim area is a room with counters for MGM checkin, and they will completely check you in with virtually no line to wait in, and they will hand you your room keys. When you get to MGM, you can go straight to your room.
