As others have posted, this is really a non-issue. UA has been accepting RDPs on equal footing as spouses for as long as I remember. Mr. and Mrs. Aerokitty have different surnames so I thought it would be a hassle to add the spouse, but it was really quite easy. I happened to have our marriage cert available, so I quickly faxed it (after removing the mothers maiden name) and voila, a his/hers RCC membership. I asked about the affidavit and they said it would work also and it did NOT have to be notarized. So, it really isn't that hard. Now if they could only get spousal Wi-Fi to work... FWIW, the person at the RCC help desk was named Linda and she was really good at making things work.
