I looked into renting a car at SNA for a trip two weeks ago. I ended up not renting at all because the prices were so ridiculous, but I did note with interest that for most of the car rental companies, the SUVs on offer had far and away the cheapest rates. Pretty funny.

I will be renting at PWM next Tuesday--looking forward to seeing what happens there. It's a work trip and only for one day, so I won't care too much if I get the SUV and have to gas it up. But they better not pull this on me when I rent in Alaska for my vacation next month!
