I received an additional email from the property stating that Platinums are offered the buffet breakfast. Thought I'd post that here.
That must be a new thing then. Maybe they have changed their policy re: suites too Do let us know.

If you do opt for Hua Hin you really should consider flying rather than being driven. Costs are quite comparable and the experience on the little Cessna is great.
