Due to fly 1st time with Delta at the weekend and also midweek. on Flts 5757 & 6155 (JFK>Pitts>JFK), any idea what aircraft these are and what sort of an experience I can expect....

Did you mean DL5787 (didn't find 5757)? That is a CRJ700. DL6155 is an ERJ145. Neither of these aircraft have a FC cabin, so service will be typical coach on a DL connection carrier - usually, one pass with the drink cart by the FA.
On DL6155, try to get an "A" seat. These are all single seats on the left side of the plane and will give you a sense of having more room.
