Major miles for credit cards, survey views, and game playing.
It is great in the short term, but the devil's advocate in me says, what will happen in a few months when folks get all these miles racked up? With lower capacity and more miles out there, will redemption become more difficult than ever before? Are we looking at a major mile value dilution/inflation?
I think the airlines are about to get hurt with to much of a good thing. Starting with USair. Soon no one will want there miles with all the fees, and the Credit card companies will no longer want to buy them. NWA and all other airlines need to open up award seat or they will all be in the same boat.
