I've had this happen with another hotel chain. I made a call and it was sorted on the spot with an apology. I got the feeling it happens all the time!
Now the question is, are the staff nicking stuff, or just bad accounting?!

I've never had it corrected on one call regardless of chain/flag....this is a pet peeve of mine (ok 2 pet peeves)
Thankfully it doesn't occur too often
