I shop there in person and I've been impressed by their knowledge, and I don't feel like they'll take advantage of my ignorance or rip me off. Some of the cheaper stores deal in gray market goods, don't think B&H does. They've been around since forever and carry a lot of pro equipment. You should at least stop by if you enjoy that kid-in-a-candy-store feeling.
Just for the record, B&H carries grey-market as well as U.S. market goods. However, they clearly distinguish between the two and will explain the advantages and disadvantages of each. As I recall, there's even a webpage on their site that provides this information. You will never be sold grey market goods unless it's been clearly communicated to you that is what you're getting.
