If you can't deal with the smell, so what? We all deal with smelling other passenger's garlic-enhanced salami sandwiches, Popeye's fried chicken, and and other assorted greasy and smelly crap they brought on board all the time.
Seems odd that if cookies were catered (which it appeared they were as they were in what appeared to be a processed, very tight circular formation), why not offer them to pax if going to the trouble to bake them?
I had no idea that FAs were bringing their own food aboard and using the ovens to heat and bake their own cookie dough when I started this thread.
How one gets cookie dough through security is beyond me though!
