Do we honestly think that if a pax brings on food and it is spoiled in some way and they get sick, they are going to blame the FAor the airline I really dont think they could prove that anything we did made them sick, as I stated if the food is contaminated in some way, heating it does NOTHING to it at all. If we serve food that we provide its different. But as I said everyone will do what they feel is the right thing to do, until I am specifically told NOT to do something then if I can provide an extra notch of service I will. If you read, not responsible as do not, thats your interpretation.
The current initial training instructors teach you the air sickness bag theory....but, we are not the ones who should be heating the bottle. We can give them a double-bagged air sickness bag filled with hot water so they can warm their own bottle. At least that's what I was taught in initial training, and I'm sure training varies from instructor to instructor.
