The North America Channel Manager is the key channel person responsible for the North America Channel Sales. The main areas of responsibility are:
Develop a business plan/forecast for all channel activity in North America, Achieve revenue objectives and acquire new customers via the channels.
This person will spend a significant amount of time developing strong working relationships with their counterparts at the strategic reseller partners.
This position is based in Burlington, MA and reports to the Director of Global Channel Sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the channel sales activity for the North American Market
- Assist in the recruitment of qualified partners in the region. Work closely with the Global Alliance Group in all recruiting efforts.
- Contribute to the development of the regional channel partners during the enablement phase of the recruitment process.
- Meet and/or exceed all channel sales quota and all revenue associated with all NA partners.
- Create and manage the channel partner sales forecast.
- Manage/assist all sales related efforts involving channel partners. Manage/assist channel partners in sales meetings, demonstrations, pricing and closing of all sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with global counterparts to share important channel partner information.
Requirements:
- 2 - 4 years experience in Channel Sales
- 2 4 years experience in direct solution selling
- Value Proposition selling experience
- Demonstrated ability to work with C level executives
- Familiarity with software licensing and business models
- Ability to work independently, anticipate and react to frequently changing business climate.
- Must demonstrate results in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment along with superb written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent, negotiation, problem solving, decision making, project management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required
