Funnily enough our friends over at CO Forum are just as vexed as we are!
PUCCI as I think I said before (and I think I'm right in saying this) the U S S S have the final say, they will try and find a way of doing whatever the Whitehouse staff / the President requests but if it isn't safe & they can't make it safe to their satisfaction - they won't do it!
So if the
Whitehouse asked for LHR and the U S S S said they saw no problem with it, then they land at LHR if the U S S S had doubts about LHR they would land somewhere else, probably at the next airport on the Whitehouse list.
