While not wanting to disagree with Auntie Pucci, I'm slightly happierto disagree with her Him Indoors.

V Power is a marketing mans dream. Its a bit like going to a restaurant where they bottle tap water and flog it to you for £3 a bottle. It's still just water.
Or maybe it's more like paying for F and booking in Y.


For the techno nerds, the main factor on whether fuels is good for your engine or provides any mileage improvement (which not even Shell claim, although other oil companies do) is how fresh the petrol is and not the grade bought i.e. normal or Super/V Power.

Over a period of week(s) the aromatic content of the fuel is the first to change as these are the most reactive. As this happens so the actual fuel changes (and often performs less well rather than better). So moreal of the story is just to go to a nusy garage where the fuel delivered regularly.
