I was in T1 over the weekend and it is a zoo at the moment with all the holiday flights. They have also adopted the BAA approach of making you walk through the new duty free shop to get to the gates, except they don't leave enough space to walk through and it is not clearly marked meaning you can easily get lost in there (I'm sure that is the idea rather like a Vegas casino). The signage also doesn't make it clear that there are more shops and bars at the other end of the duty free shop so people hang around what used to be the landside departure hall (where they used to have those chandeliers many moons ago) making it very crowded.

I used to love MAN and especially T1 now it is just rubbish.
