I'll be flying out of Manchester on SAS in a few days (my first visit to MAN) and it seems like SAS is using terminal 1. In terms of lounge they use a contract lounge run by Servisair.

I had a look at the Manchester airport webpage and it looks like terminal 1 (which SAS uses) and terminal 3 (which BMI uses) are connected.
I know there is a BMI DC lounge in terminal 3, is it possible to go from T1 to T3 airside to visit the BMI lounge without too much trouble?
Similar to what can be done at LHR between T1 and T2.

Thanks in advance!
Simple answer = NO

They are not even connected landside any more since they opened the new security procedures at T1 recently. You have to walk outside or get a bus between T1 and T3 these days.
