Just some thoughts; I wonder if the sales would change if the public would know about the seat pitch fact. Also I wonder if the seat sales are high just because there are very few options on the route/departure time offered.
Example FRA-KIX there is not much else options than to suffer in a LH 346 Y. However, of course one could also argue that LH offers the best price performance on this route, hence the nice sales.
