That should make for a interesting mix of staff...
Quite interesting how LH handles this. Imagine the uproar at an unionized US Airline if they hired someone directly into a senior position.

In fact UA also has a shortage of Pursers right now, and their "solution" is to have a normal FA run the purser position if no qualified purser is available.

I wonder what the qualification at Cityline is, because there is no such thing as a Purser position on CL.
