Beds? TV's? lobby remodels

Is that company wide? because I certainly haven't seen that implemented company wide, yet rate hikes have! In fact in The Lisbon Marriott decided not to re-model their fitness centre because they claimed it was too expensive, yet their rates have gone up over 15% over last year! Hmmmm I'm currently at the Renaissance Toronto Airport... same lobby, beds and tv's for the last 3 years that I can remember, JW Marriott Rio de Janerio same lobby, same furniture, beds and tv's since they opened! Renaissance Sao Paulo same beds, lobby, tv's in fact their furniture is looking worn out! Montreal Marriott the bathrooms are what you would call shabby chic, old tv's and beds that squeak!...

I can go on and on. Besides, other chains are also "re-modeling" yet that hasn't stopped them from offering Platinums half the things I propose.
