As much as I disagree with the idea proposed in this thread, I think it is a touch unfair to be upset with AA for something proposed on an internet forum that has probably never been considered by actual AA management.
I never said I was upset. And your statement is not supported by facts unless you work in senior management at AA. Having worked for airlines, I can tell you a lot is discussed that never reaches the end consumer. Unless you work with AA managment, you really can't consider your statement valid.
