Why would you, as a state employee of say, Oregon (example!) be able to travel to my state, Florida, and not pay my state taxes? The taxes I pay here, go to MY state - Florida. Not to Oregon. It just seems like a big messy cross over of state taxes? Federal is one thing..........but state taxes are all so different.....sure, you're a state worker for Oregon so when you're in YOUR state, it seems redundant to pay taxes, because, well that's where your pay comes from. But when you travel to Florida, and count yourself exempt aren't you robbing one of my Florida state workers of some of their paycheck?

Am I off base here?
where did taxes come into play here? I always pay the taxes.
