I sincerely hope you guys bolting to Delta realize IF the merger with NWA goes through, it WILL be ugly! If you think old US Airways employees are militant, just wait until the Northwest employees decide they are unhappy with decisions that come with the merger. NWA is made up of militant union members AND scabs along with kool aid drinking anti union workers at Delta. This has the potential of being a huge mess. The synergies here are way overstated and well, there IS no synergy! Unless DAL/NWA decides to either slash planes or routes, they will be forced to make similar changes that US has made or they will literally bleed to death. I suppose the latter will happen as nobody can piss away money as liberally as Delta. At the same time they will tell you it is to gain your loyalty, but continue to bleed red. Delta execs are the master of telling you what you want to hear, even if it means dying a slow death in the process.
