Boarding times are going to take longer. Of course, this means an increase in delayed departures.

Elite flyers also run late for connecting flights. Do not expect ANY overhead space to be available if you aren't one of the first 50% to board. I believe more and more of us elite flyers will find ourselves waiting in baggage claim for luggage we did not expect to gate check.
