I was the one who gave Matt the tip with the Riverside Royal Garden Marriott.

I find it VERY convenient to take the free half hour Marriott shuttle boat that brings you in 10 minutes to the Oriental pier and further on.

And for the price (advanced paid rate $80 including buffet breakfast) it is a bargain - and it is a REAL FULL SERVICE RESORT.
