Anyway, what to expect on this route for 2am departure in CW in terms of food/service? Do they have the option to eat onboard as I understood there's no pre flight supper in the lounge?
I did this in Jan 07 so things may have changed. There is no formal pre-flight supper like the US East Coast sleeper services have, mind you for a 2am departure you would assume that most people would have eaten in town earlier anyway.
The lounge is small and gets very busy. Self service bar and a few hot and cold snacks.
It may have just been the particular crew we had, but it was about 90mins until lights out. A supper menu was on offer with a panani / salad as well as cookies and hot chocolate. They'll also be the Club Kitchen on offer with plenty of snacks, drinks etc...
