Why distance yourself from an alliance that provides you with quite a reasonable number of benefits? Perhaps this is in response to Egyptair and Air India becoming members
I think it may be a one-off and the cabin crew forgot ... unless you didn't hear it across the board! I certainly heard the same *A announcements when I flew with them 2 weeks ago.
