This is nit-pitting, but I noticed that the announcements have changed...
At the end, instead of saying: "thank you for flying Singapore Airlines, a member of Star Alliance" they just stop after 'Singapore Airlines.' On my SIN-SYD flight they didn't even mention that they were code-sharing with their Star Alliance partner (Lufthansa).
Why distance yourself from an alliance that provides you with quite a reasonable number of benefits? Perhaps this is in response to Egyptair and Air India becoming members
I think it may be a one-off and the cabin crew forgot ... unless you didn't hear it across the board! I certainly heard the same *A announcements when I flew with them 2 weeks ago.
