I've never invoked it, I've sent in coimments on several properties and I've been issued a full refund, but it was neither asked for nor expected. It's one of the things I like about Hilton, with one glaring exceptioin, every time I have had negative comments, they have been very quickly addressed, sometimes with refunds.
That being said, there are people out there who make their entire life about getting stuff for mothing. Ordering pizza with a 30 minute delivery in bad weather, hoping they can't make it. Staying at hotels with a money back policy and finding something to complain about. Buying a bag of grass seed and lawnmower at Home Depot and returning the bag mostly empty saying it didn't grow and the lawnmower at the end of the season. People who buy chain saws, cut down all their trees, and return it sayint it's no good.
Don't really see an issue in trying to pick up the patterns on people like that. Anybody who has worked retail knows there are way too many peoiple out there looking for those words, satisfaction guaranteed.
