Actually the long story to short was - I tried to leave then he punched me in the back of the head. A complete sucker punch after I thought the whole thing was over. But now I see why victims also seem to be portrayed as the bad guys in court, etc. Luckily I had over 10 witnesses who said "I DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THESE PEOPLE". And it does not always take two people to argue... when someone is nuts they don't need a reason to hit you. They already have several reasons in their head as to what you did wrong... like these people. Thanks for filling in the blanks and honestly I wasn't trying to blame you the victim, just wondering aloud what the rest of the story was and whether anyting else may have been said however inadvertant. I work in customer service and have for 13+ years so I can understand there are some types there is just no reasoning with. And, yes, you're right it can't be easy to be an airline front-line employee and face this kind of attitude on a regular basis.
