Sorry that your first post was occasioned by such grim circumstances.

You will be glad to hear that such behavior is rare, at least based on my own experience and reading this board. Not that you won't find a complaint or two.

I happened to be in BOS last Saturday, coming back to DEN. I can tell you that the place was slammed, flights to SFO and DEN were zeroed out all day, and I doubt IAD or ORD were much better.

In the midst of the chaos, several of the GA's I encountered were AWESOME, even in the face of some pretty trying circumstances. I did see one that was a bit more brusque, though not as bad as your experience. The FAs on the flight were also great. The point being, there are lots of great UA employees out there so odds are in your favor that the next trip will be better!
