I am brand new to this board,so this question may have been asked before, please bear with me.

I have 130k miles on UAL, w/their filing of Bankruptcy and furloughing of flight attendants, I'm wondering what to convert my miles to.

Should I put them into tickets for next year, then transfer the miles back into my account (is there a penalty for doing this?) or do any of you have an alternate suggestion.
