I have dry, allergic skin. The plus to mineral makeup- really not an allergen for me. The minus- on dry skin it does highlight the little wrinkles and doesn't " stay put" as long as I would like. That being said, there is a liquid mineral makeup called Illuminare which is really good IMHO. I have also tried Nicole Paxson's makeup compact . She has lupus and designed it for fellow patients- high SPF, good redness control, few allergens and irritants. It is currently my favorite because it comes in a great little compact. It's easy to touch up- no risk of powder flying everywhere while you're sitting at your desk ( maybe that just happens to me).
All in all, I am a mineral makeup fan, you just have to find what version works for you!
